We recognize the importance of community with one another and stretch our arms to create more space for our thriving community.

This building, named for Augustus Witherspoon three decades ago, carries a legacy of Black students, staff, faculty and community members finding a home at NC State. The Witherspoon Student Center is home to the African American Cultural Center, Student Media, and Military and Veterans Affairs. To commemorate 30 years of the African American Cultural Center and its supporters, partners and friends, we invite our community to join our 30th anniversary celebration, “Creating Home: Through Time and Space.”
